Founder and CEO
David is the founder and CEO of Integra, Inc., which is the developer of the Integra Ledger “Blockchain for Law”. He is also one of the founders of the recently announced Global Legal Blockchain Consortium, which is a legal industry group focused on standards and governance for the use of blockchain technology in the legal industry. The GLBC is composed of major law firms, corporate legal departments, software companies, and universities.
Prior to founding Integra, David was the founder and CEO of Privātim, which was a secure communication and collaboration technology platform for law firms and clients. Earlier in his career, he was the founder and CEO of Millennium Venture Group, which was a national commercial real estate finance and development platform.
David is a former chairman of the board of Youthbiz, a Denver-based non-profit focused on business education for inner city youth. He is a graduate of Rice University and Harvard Business School and resides in Colorado with his wife and two children
Chief Technology Officer
David Berger received his AB in Physical Sciences at Harvard where, as a premed, he decided that computers were more interesting than medicine and founded a startup for computer-based medical school test prep.
Currently, he is CTO at Integra Ledger, a Permissioned Blockchain for the Global Legal Industry. At Integra, he oversees all technology development and technical operations. In addition to his operational role, he also functions as the company’s chief architect, exploring new tools and technologies, and developing prototypes for new uses of Blockchain in Law. David is a seasoned technologist with extensive experience in high-end multimedia, enterprise systems, and mobile application development ranging from iOS development to Mobile/Social content delivery. His primary focus has been in distance learning, medical education, and gaming. David has founded a few companies and has worked in companies ranging from small startups to large public companies including SciMedMedia, The Princeton Review, and IGT. In his free time, he helps raise the family pig and practices close-up magic.
Strategy and Operations
Jay D. Hull is a recognized leader in legal innovation and change management. Jay most recently served as Chief Innovation Partner for Davis Wright Tremaine and was the founding partner and leader of the firm’s innovation initiative, DWT De Novo. Under Jay’s leadership, Davis Wright Tremaine was named, “Innovative Law Firm of the Year” by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) an unprecedented two times in a row in 2015 and 2016.
Having served as senior in-house counsel for many years, Jay understands the pressures faced by in-house legal teams. It’s with this understanding and his many years practicing as a business transactions lawyer in the technology field that Jay looks for creative solutions to clients’ business and legal challenges
VP Finance & Operations
Amy joined Integra as the Vice President of Finance & Operations in 2017. Previously, Amy worked in the Private Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco where she and her team managed in excess of $300 million. Prior to her time in the financial industry, Amy worked for Enclos Corporation where she managed Quality Control efforts for MGM City Center in Las Vegas and LA Live in Los Angeles. She has advised various organizations on environmental issues, including Kraft Foods and the World Wildlife Fund. Amy was formerly involved in the Circles Initiative, a program that helps increase the capacity of families and communities to resolve poverty. Amy received her B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, her Masters of Environmental Management from The Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University, and her M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Director of Ecosystem Development
Pierson Grider is Denver based legal professional, technology enthusiast, and blockchain pioneer. He joined Integra in 2017 bringing his legal and technology knowledge with him. As the Global Host Manager of Global Legal Hackathon, he organized and directed the 40 host cities across 22 countries. Pierson has a wide-range of experience from representing clients in various legal matters to managing the information technology department of a major non-profit. Pierson graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and received his B.A. from James Madison College at Michigan State University in International Relations with a specialization in Science, Technology, and Environmental Public Policy.
Operations and Project Management
Kim is an experienced legal IT professional, having served on the Davis Wright Tremaine IT team for 17 years. Kim began her career in IT training and support, so she brings a unique perspective which always keeps the user in mind. She rose to the position of Interim Chief Information Officer, a position she held for 18 months. Kim led DWT’s IT team of 70 people and had responsibility for budget, procurement, strategic planning, and other areas. Kim was also a key member of the award-winning DWT De Novo innovation team. As part of De Novo, Kim collaborated on dozens of projects where the goal was to create solutions which combine service, technology and innovation. During her tenure, DWT was twice the recipient of ILTA’s Innovative Law Firm of the Year award. Kim joined the Integra team in 2018.
